Coach: Hirscher straddled gate during Zagreb win
World Cup leader Marcel Hirscher straddled a gate while winning the Jan. 5 night slalom in Zagreb, Croatia, the Austrian ski federation said Sunday. Austrian coaches studying footage of Hirscher's run after the race saw that during his second run, one of his skis hit a gate and then passed it on the wrong side, head coach Mattias Berthold said Sunday.
