Hello my name is Paulla Ufferheide. This may be a little late, but I just saw your posting. If you and your wife have zeroed in on a property, I hope everything is going well, but if you need assistance I can help you through the process. I am currently setting up a company to help Americans to buy property in Croatia. This is aimed at U.S. residents, but I have an association with a company that is based out of Zagreb. My husband (Craig)and I bought our house from Karl and Martina two years ago while living in England. Due to my husband’s job, we have recently returned to the US. My wife and I, both US citizens, are looking to invest in real estate in Zagreb with the intention of moving there.

Is there someone able to provide names of local real estate firms in Zagreb that could assist us in locating a house or apartment?

In addition, it would also be helpful if you could provide resources or an appropriate referral that would assist us in the following:

1) identifying the appropriate neighborhood in Zagreb;

2) initiating and maintaining contact with a local law firm in Zagreb;

I would greatly appreciate any guidance you can provide. Private replies welcome.
